About the Recipe

Matcha powder is a gift from nature, truly. It’s a concentrated form of green tea, made from finely ground, shade-grown leaves, which makes it packed with antioxidants—especially catechins, those little molecules that are so beneficial for our cells. It’s one of the most potent forms of green tea, giving you the calm energy you need, without the jitteriness coffee can bring. I always say, it’s like mindfulness in a cup—gentle, focused, and full of vitality.

What’s special about matcha is that it doesn’t just give you a caffeine boost; it also contains L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes relaxation while enhancing alertness. So, whether you’re looking for a calm morning ritual or an afternoon pick-me-up, matcha brings that beautiful balance of clarity and calm.

And of course, I can’t talk about matcha without mentioning its metabolism-boosting properties. It supports fat oxidation, making it a favorite for those who want to keep active and maintain a healthy weight. I love using it in smoothies, lattes, or even sprinkled over desserts for that extra wellness kick.
